Just a reminder for this week, BHS Junior varsity and Varsity Hockey have a game Thursday night at the VFW against Minot.  Expect there to be parking issues that evening.  Please remind members if they complain about parking.

City of Bismarck corporate membership discount is listed under 'Federal and City Government' in the Corp binder

Mike McMerty will be bringing in the Bismarck Police Department SWAT Team to train on the second Wednesday of every month from 8am - 9am.  They will be doing a variety of activities within the Y.He will charge and pay for guest fees at a group rate of $5 per person.  I am working with Mike to encourage membership too for the roughly 20 non members of the total of 28 SWAT Team members.I have a no enrollment fee special that he will be using to encourage his guys to join.Their first day here will be May 9.

- If Boy Scouts troops call about swim tests, tell them to call the aquatic center or they need to do them at summer camp.  We are no longer doing them.

BCBS/ND members who are participating in the program have to complete an assessment every year online.  Apparently, the website changed on 4/1/11.  If anyone comes in or calls saying they can’t get online with their user id and password, it’s because of this change.  If they haven’t logged on to that website since 4/1/11, they need to register again as a new user.  They can use the same information, they just need to register again.  I have received a ton of calls on this and I know Jason took some too so please just pass this on.  Thanks.

      • The September through December camps are all in the system and set to open on September 6

        • ie: SS 09/26/11 etc...

      • They are all in the system, and open 2 weeks prior to the class

• When signing up kids for classes get a phone number of the parents in case classes are cancelled and they need to be called!!!!!!!

• When signing someone up for CPR make sure they know it cannot be used for lifeguarding.

• Do not unlink anyone from a family membership.  Make sure they fill out a change form and Jen will take them off of the Membership.

• Donations - Anyone asking to make a donation at the front desk use transaction code 155.  Make sure to get their name and address if possible.
