Child Watch Reopening Plan

Hey all,

Child Watch will be reopening Monday, June 15th with restrictions which are detailed below.

• • Hours of operation for Child Watch will be temporarily be adjusted to 8:45-11:45 AM Monday-Friday; 4:30-7:30 PM Monday-Thursday.  There will be no Child Watch on Saturday until further notice.  

  • Preregistration will be required by calling/visiting the Member Services desk.

  • Registration opens 24 hours prior to each time slot

• Members with the Child Watch add on can use the service once per day.  They cannot bring the kid(s) in the morning and then again in the afternoon (this is how it has always been).  

  • Time slots will be one hour in length starting at 8:45, 9:45, 10:45 AM, 4:30, 5:30 and 6:30 PM. 

  • Maximum 10 Member children per one hour time slot (staff children are being taken into account separately to not take away spots from members)

  • Child Watch will only be available to members with the monthly add on fee until further notice (no daily passes even if they are active members).

  • All children being dropped off will have temperatures taken and have a health screening done prior to being dropped off.  If temp is 100.4 or higher or the child has experienced any of the symptoms detailed in the screening they will not be allowed to be dropped off. No sick children will be admitted.

  • Snacks will not be allowed until further notice.  Resealable water bottles are allowed.

  • Staff will wear appropriate PPE and practice extensive cleaning measures.

Sabrina is working on putting together a Google Sheet document that we will use to register participants at the desk that can be shared with Child Watch.  As soon as that is ready I will post more details on the registration process.
