Changes coming September 1st

Hey all,

As we continue our progress of reopening our facility we will be making some more changes to take the next step towards normalcy. These changes will take effect September 1st. Details are listed below:

• • Returning to closing at 11:00 PM Monday-Friday.  (As of right now, Team Leads/SOD's do not need to do additional cleaning in the Life Center.  This may change when we get additional ionized misters.  At the desk we are still expected to do a thorough cleaning job of all touch points before we leave for the night.  The 7-11 PM Member Service Rep. shift on Monday and Friday as well as the 2-7 PM shifts on Saturday and Sunday are responsible for help the Team Lead/SOD clean whichever side of the building they are closing on.)  

  • Child Watch add on fee will be charged starting in September.

  • Child Watch will be adding Saturday (8:45-11:45 AM) to its hours of operation.  All other policies/procedures in Child Watch will remain the same at this time.

  • Additional in person group fitness classes.  Registration still required online (except SilverSneakers which can call in).  Online classes will still be available through the "Y Connect - Bismarck Y & Family Wellness Mandan Member Group Fitness" page.  (Member must request permission to join this page.  Permission is usually granted by the next business day).

  • Expanded Open Swim times (starting after Kerr Pool reopens 9/8).  Times that the slides will be available will still remain only Saturday and Sunday. Open Swim times will be available after lessons conclude.  Paper schedules will be available soon as well as updates to the website and mobile app. 

  • Primetime: Adding additional senior programs. 

  • Coffee will be offered in the Upgraded Locker Rooms (not the Life Center).
