Project Hope Donations

Post date: May 07, 2019 10:40:3 AM

Hey all,

The YMCA & Family Wellness is participating in Project Hope this week, May 6th-10th.  Project Hope is a community wellness event designed by the Bismarck Cancer Center to educate the community about healthy lifestyles, cancer prevention and early detection.

The Bismarck Cancer Center Foundation was established in 2007 to provide financial support to cancer patients, as well as assistance with transportation, lodging, emotional and spiritual care, nutritional care, survivorship care, art therapy, and massage and physical therapy.

All YMCA and Family Wellness employees can participate with a donation of $10 or more. Employees who donate will receive a Project Hope educational brochure, jeans day stickers and mini hand sanitizer. Your donation will also allow you to wear jeans and either a YMCA/Family Wellness shirt or a shirt that corresponds with the Project Hope color of the day:

Employees can give their cash or check donation to one of the people indicated below or pay with a credit card/account on file at the Front Desk at the Main Y or Family Wellness:

As of yesterday we only had a couple of packets left at the East Desk.  Raquel gave us everything that she had. They are located in the drawer next to the cash drawer.  Once they are gone we will need to reach out to the people listed above to see if they have any more stickers.  We can still take the donations, however.  Just print out a for them to give to their supervisor to show that they paid.

To process the payment we use the One Time Fee in Daxko labeled Project Hope Donation.

If you have any questions please let me know!
