Athletics Amplified Sports Training

This summer we will be offering two different Sports Specific Training programs for youth athletes, Athletics Amplified and Hockey Athletics Amplified. Below is a description of each.
Athletics Amplified-A 10 week strength and conditioning program instructed by YMCA Certified Personal Trainers and Exercise Physiologists. This program will focus on helping athletes develop proper technique and execution of exercises specific to each athlete and their sport. The program will consist of exercises to improve strength, balance, flexibility, speed, agility, quickness, and coordination in the off season that will take your upcoming season to the next level.
Hockey Athletics Amplified- A 10 week off-ice strength and conditioning program instructed by Kenton Manhart that will focus on helping athletes develop proper technique and execution of hockey specific exercises. The program will consist of exercises to improve strength, balance, flexibility, speed, agility, quickness, and coordination in the off season that will take your upcoming season to the next level.
There are two separate age groups for each offering. One for 10-13 year old's (meet twice per week) and one for 14+ year old's (meet 3 times per week).Â
Available to Members and Non-Members
Participant can choose to sign up for the full summer session, or sign up for one month at a time
The full session has 8 spots per age group, the individual month have 5 spots per month so there can be a total of 13 participants per month
Registration is now open in Daxko and is listed under the Athletics Amplified-YMCA heading. Family Wellness will be offering the Athletics Amplified option but not the Hockey version (Family Wellness registration will be titled Athletics Amplified-Family Welllness in Daxko so make sure you are choosing the right one.)
