Facility Updates

Team,

We are going to be doing some facility updates to give the Life Center a fresher look. This has caused some of the strength training equipment to be moved from where it normally is temporarily. We will be adding an all purpose turf strip to the strength training side of the Life Center. This can be used for stretching, sled pushing, and many other athletic training style exercises and will be a nice addition to our facility. 

Starting next week (7/26) we will also be redoing the flooring on the cardio side of the Life Center. To do this they will need to divide the cardio section in two closing off one half completely while the floors are being redone. We will begin moving some of the equipment around this week so there is a good mix of all options available while half the area is closed. The first section to be done will be along the Cycling Studio/South wall. This should cause minimal disruption in traffic flow. When they do the second half the stairwell from the West entrance down to the Life Center will be closed, there will the bathrooms and drinking fountain on that side available either as they will be working on the flooring surround the Life Center desk as well. 

Once the flooring is completed on the cardio side of the Life Center, we will be adding a new feature called the MX4 training system. This is a high intensity training program that will be run by our personal trainers. There are a lot of really cool features that go along with this program and it should generate a lot of buzz for us. Lastly, the Family Splash Center will be closed from 8/9-9/5. The pool liner in that pool has developed bubbles underneath it so the pool will need to be drained, the liner ripped out and then reinstalled. This means that when those dates roll around that we will need to be very clear that the Family Splash Center is closed if anyone calls in asking about Open Swim times.
